At FaithWalk, we are trying to keep our activities in line with our priorities. Since our relationship with God is of that FaithWalk, we are trying to keep our activities in line with our priorities. Since our relationship with God is of the utmost importance, we spend the first Wednesday of every month in prayer, praise or simply in the presence of God. Next, we want to ensure that as Christ followers, we are maturing to be better able to be and do all He asks of us. The second Wednesday of the month is for equipping ourselves and learning about how God is forming Himself in us. Thirdly, we want to ensure that reaching out to those who have yet to love and serve Jesus is what we do with all of that joy and wisdom from the first two activities. So, the third Wednesday is for preparation for and actually going out to make meaningful contact with others in the community. Finally, without question, a church that plays together stays together. It is absolutely essential that we continue to simply enjoy each other's company with no purpose other than deepening our love for one another. The fourth Wednesday of the month will be for dessert socials, games, hanging out having fun. If there is a fifth Wednesday in any given month, that is reserved for taking the night off entirely.
